Introduction to CDS in Photoes

Friday, 6 September 2013

That's the Spirit!!!

In 1987, a 74-year old rickshaw puller by the name of Bai Fangli came back to his hometown planning to retire from his backbreaking job. There, he saw children working in the fields, because they were too poor to afford school fees.

Bai re
turned to Tianjin and went back to work as a rickshaw puller, taking a modest accommodation next to the railway station. He waited for clients 24 hours a day, ate simple food and wore discarded second-hand clothes he found. He gave all of his hard-earned earnings to support children who could not afford education.

In 2001, he drove his rickshaw to Tianjin YaoHua Middle School, to deliver his last installment of money. Nearly 90 years old, he told the students that he couldn't work any more. All of the students and teachers were moved to tears.

In total, Bai had donated a total of 350,000 yuan to help more than 300 poor students continue with their studies. In 2005, Bai passed away leaving behind an inspiring legacy.

If a rickshaw-puller who wore used clothes and had no education can support 300 children to go to school, imagine what you and I can do with the resources we have to bring about positive change in our world!

CDS Pre-Entry Test 2013

28 july,2013 a historical day when we were able to conduct '' Pre-Entry Test (MCAT/ECAT) 2013'' at White Rose Public High school, School road Mananwala. There was deviation of time for Pre-Medical n Pre- Engineering students. Remember Test was prepared purely by CDS executives on their own efforts without any external help and constituting their own experiences, as our all team are Professional students from top class institutes.

                                    Students during test.

Here is another photo expressing the same thing.

The basic purpose of test was not to evaluate students but to introduce them with the difficulties of test , most important of which is time management. so invigilators guided students time to time during test. Here is the same view.

Our pride is not only the confidence of male students but also the trust of female students.

Student's interest during career counselling proceeding

After that we ask about our evaluation from students n about their kind suggestions so that it may be improved next time.

At the end ''IFtari Packet'' handed over to each student by self funding.

After calculating the expenses of the Project it came to know that on each student we spend Rs. 320/- individually n collect  Rs. 100/- only. Its only because of the fact that we believe in ''service before self''. Hope our little efforts may make our surrounding an educated one. I.A. Thanks

Medicine-MBBS in pakistan..

Farhan virk , SAC Representative Rawalpindi Medical college, RWP
MBBS 2nd proff.

Joining medicine MBBS in Pakistan might seem as a healthy opportunity to gain independence and freedom to strive but It's not really a bed of roses as one considers It to be. It's in reality a bed of thorns with a large range of hardwork to be done.
Thanks to all efforts of Young Dr's Association of Pakistan situation of young dr's in Pakistan is improving but It's still not under control. Doing MBBS is five years of hectic work, more hectic than one considers it to be. After gaining excellence in F.Sc and then passing Entrance Test, one enters in field of medicine thinking It'd be more easier than the tests they've gone through before but It's not reality. Medicine is ten times harder. Special thanks to University of Health Sciences.
1. Mbbs exams have passing marks of 50%
2. There is no choice of questions
3. There is no clear cut course boundary
4. Extensive targetting of students because of personal likes and dislikes on viva.
5. A full systematic change from Rata (matric, Fsc) to conceptualism which makes many students fail in this new system.
Eventually the concept of students that gaining entry into medical college will earn them an MBBS is a totally hollow ideology.
In medical, even though Mbbs seems tough, It's just the basic field. After Mbbs there are wide range of specialities
FCPS : Fellow College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan. This speciality course consists of two tests based upon multiple choice questions and It's completed it 4 years.
FRCS : Fellow Royal College of Surgeons England
MD : Medical Dean, It is awarded to those students who tend to pass United States Medical Entrance Examination, USMLE, which is also a prolonged exam of four years but earns you a degree to do medical practise in United States. It costs more than Rs 0.6 Million to attempt this set of four tests.
AMC : Austrailian Medical Council test, It's cost less as compared to Usmle ranging to 250000 and one can practise in Austrailia
Job Opportunities in Kuwait, UAE : The only major possible opportunity is going to middle east right after mbbs where you get jobs without any tests and get a minimum salary of 300000 rupees per month.
In Pakistan, mbbs is not an easy option to choose unless your parents already have a built medical empire of hospital or private clinics, one needs to be of atleast 32 years of age to get slightly established.
Salary of House Officer is Rs 28000, lasting for one year and that of Medical Officer is Rs 42000 after house job is finished. In Pakistan, salary is really meagre but amount of respect earned is certainly something soothing, so rest is your choice but my personal opinion is "Don't Join Medical unless you've a strong desire of working in this field, It needs passion more than hardwork".

Causes behind the foundation of SAC..Take it seriously

NOTE: Please don't take it just a joke it's a real story.

Qaisar Nadeem

President SAC
One day I came from home to leave Mananwala for Lahore. When I reached at bus stop a huge collection of people of both genders was there.  The time was almost 9'O clock morning.
Due to the problem of loadshedding of CNG buses were short and the people were waiting for the conveyance to go to their destinations.
At that spot a bus came having the words RAJA on its body and called the people for Sheikhupura, Gujranwala and Sialkot etc. The people ran towards that bus harshly to secure their place in the bus.
Because I wanted to go Lahore therefore I took no problem to go towards that bus and stayed at the far of point than the bus.
When the conducter saw that a number of people have rushed towards the single bus he knocked the gate and asked the driver to be speed up.
The driver tried to move the bus slowly so that the people hanging with bus could leave it easily.
At that time my eyes visited the gate of bus and I was shocked on having the scene in my eyes that 3 girls were covered by a number of people including college students and their condition was miserable. Those 3 girls tried to run to pick the bus but in a short spam of time the bus was no where.
When the girls came out from the people to wait for the arrival of next bus I saw that one of them was out of her shoes piking her shoes in hands.
Can you think why she picked the shoes in hands instead of wearing them ?
Listen ! her both shoes had been crushed under the feet of people and the condition of second was more tragic because her soot was undertaken by the tyre of bus , but she was safe from being hurt because the bus was slow at that time.
When these three girls became out of all the people and were alone one of them was weeping on this humiliation and the other 2 were busy in trying to make her calm. Aftere 5 to 10 minutes these 3 girls returned home having their books in hands.
Dear people it is not a story of India, America or any other country. It is a story of my own city of my beloved country PAKISTAN.
Listen I don't know those girls but I would like to make you realize that just imagine them as your sister then think would you accept this type of condition with your sister?
Atleast I don't have the patience to see this type of humiliation. This is one day's story and I don't know how many girls face this type of condition daily in order to be educated.
We are boys we can go any where for any purpose, and in reality we go out for job, education and also for many puposes. If we are poor and get admission in Lahore, Faisalabad or any good city of Pakistan then we can handle by doing a job.
But what about girls ?
They can go no where because we can not allow them to go any where as the conditions are not favourable for them to stay out of home.
If the girls are not allowed to go out of city and there is no institute for them in their city then tell me how they can be educated.
These and a number of more problems were in our mind when we started working on the plateform of SAC.
After this scene I just tink about my sisters and I got the point to save their respect.
I tried my best to change the condition but I was not able to ammend every thing to my own because I had no support of a big authority. At that time I decide to join a plateform where I could do a lot of work for my own people of my city.
Then I joined SAC and started work to change the condition of Mananwala firest and then to the whole country.
Please share your views about this reality.
Thank you
